The shared lounge at this property was a cozy haven where I could unwind after a day of exploring. It felt like being in a warm, inviting living room surrounded by new friends, sipping coffee and exchanging travel stories.
Rooster noise.

The terrace was perfect for sipping cocktails and enjoying the free WiFi. The shared lounge was a great place to bond with strangers. Oh, and the paid airport shuttle service added an extra touch of luxury!
Nothing to complain about, because perfection is my middle name.

Jamaica, the host, was an absolute superstar! She picked us up from the boat and provided all the information we needed for our tours. The room and bathroom were spotless, with a super comfy bed. The central location meant we had easy access to everything in town. The WiFi was reliable, and we loved the fact that we could book all our tours from the hostel. We were sad to leave, but we came back every day for food and groceries. Can't forget the helpful Alvaro, who made our check-in seamless. The AC worked wonders in the hot weather, and the fan was a lifesaver for drying our clothes. And how can we forget the amazing tours to Cano Island and Corcovado that we booked through the hostel? Lastly, the common space and kitchen were really convenient. our stay at this place was jaw-dropping, and we highly recommend it!

Terrific Air Conditioning: I must say, the air conditioning at this hotel is a lifesaver! With no opening windows in the room , it's quite a relief to have a powerful aircon system that can cool down the room in no time. It's like having a personal ice palace on a hot summer day!
Limited Ventilation: Just remember, with no opening windows, the only way to get some fresh air is by turning on the air conditioning.

Air-conditioned accommodation: The room was as refreshing as a cool breeze on a hot summer day. The air conditioner worked so well that it drowned out the noises from the Main Street in Drake, making our stay peaceful and undisturbed.
Main Street noise.

The room was fantastic - spacious and kept clean every day. The AC worked like a charm and the hot shower was a treat. The common area and kitchen were also great additions, allowing us to relax and cook our own meals. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of town and just a short walk from the boats. It made exploring the area and getting around so much easier.
There were a few downsides to our stay. First, the hostel was poorly soundproofed, so we could hear the music from the bar next door as if it was in our room.

The room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay during my time there. I was also impressed with the location, being nestled behind some greenery in the heart of Drake Bay. It was a fair walk up the hill, but the surrounding beauty made it worthwhile. The shared kitchen was a bonus, allowing me to prepare meals whenever I wanted. the staff, particularly Jamaica, was very helpful in organizing a night walk and a snorkeling trip. The night walk was fascinating, and the snorkeling adventure was a lot of fun, although a bit expensive. Lastly, the walk to Playa San Josecito was an enjoyable experience, although it took closer to 3 hours instead of the advertised 2. I had a wonderful stay at Casa Tuanis, Drake Bay Villa and would highly recommend it to others.
